Local Information
Broadstone Village
In 1805 Broadstone was part of the great Canford Estate near Wimborne, which belonged to the lord of the manor, at that time a man called Edward Arrowsmith. Broadstone's subsequent growth was largely due to the local gravel pits and settlement as a result of being adjacent to the Toll roads from Poole to Wimborne and a section of the Blandford to Wareham road. Broadstone village today is a bustling place with many amenities and shops to suit all ages and tastes; all of which are a few minutes walk from Honey Lodge:
A selection of excellent restaurants. The Goods Yard Pub is particularly recommended
